Brandon, thank you sooo much for your true revelation from the Spirit of what He expects our worship to be. I stopped attending a “church building” because of the very way that you have described how worship is being displayed by the Body of Christ today. Please pray for me and my family.

I’m currently researching the strengths and weaknesses of Pentecostal worship.Your piece of article is an encouragement to me as a Pentecostal. I think much has to be done in the area of worship not only among Pentecostals but also among the mainline and other traditions.

The sermon I’ll be preaching this week is out Romans 1:8 where Paul shares how the church in Rome is constantly in his prayers. The big idea here being in a nutshell that Paul is thankful for the church. I like how you put it that the church that Jesus died for does not always live up to being that church. We must be thankful for the church as it was ordained by God to be his vessel to proclaim to the world that Jesus is the Christ. But we still have alot of work to do. Thank you for your post. Hoop

You know Brandon? I’ve been asking that same question. And it was just yesterday when I was thinking about that. What does the kingdom of God look like? Yeah we’ve got the traditions of going to “church” from Sunday to Sunday or from Friday to Friday or Saturday to Saturday, speaking in tongues, laying of the hands, “acting in the spirit”, quoting scriptures, prophesying (or prophelying) down pack. We are pros at that. Yet how can we get to the real? What is the real? What does it look like? It’s not Kingdom when more than half of the church are living from pay check to pay check. It’s not Kingdom when many of us “Christians” pray religiously for increase and give our tithes constantly, yet are struggling financially.

So, how do we move from religion to Kingdom? The authentic Kingdom of God?
